We know your weekends have probably been filled with holiday activities, Christmas parades, and seasonal fun, but now it’s time to break up the monotony and attend Comic-Con for the day. The whole family can have a blast browsing the entire convention floor filled with vendors, artists, and guests.
Check out over 20 different events, programs, and film screenings throughout the day including Introduction to Cosplay, screenings from the Ocean City Film Festival, Saber Guild Lightsaber Training, and much more. Now’s the chance to hear from experts and professionals who share the same passions and interests as you.
The Delaware Anime Society will be providing screenings of your favorite anime episodes during the day as well as hosting the Ugly Sweater Contest. Visit Video Room 201 and enter for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
Dress in your best cosplay outfits and enter a variety of contests for the chance to win prizes for first, second, and third place. The contest will be hosted by Kati Coe and judged by other fabulous cosplayers like Fanbustion, Kevin Hock of Transcendent Events, and Ally Blaze Cosplay.
Ready to put your video game skills to the test? Small Town Gaming is hosting their Small Town Showdown Tournament at 11:15 AM at Comic-Con. This year, compete in Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Guilty Gear Strive for the chance to win awesome prizes.
Admission for adults is only $10 with the chance to receive $1 off with a non-perishable food item donation for Diakonia or for being in costume. Kids ages 9 and under can attend for free with a paying adult.
