Before we went on vacation, I was asking from friends of a good place to go to get crab cake that is not filled with fillers. They suggested this place and boy were they right! I had to order just about everything on this menu. Everything was cooked perfect, lots of flavor, staff was nice, it was kid friendly. They had a pool there which was perfect to keep the kids entertained while I was stuffing my face with amazing food. If you're in OCMD, I suggest you stop here at least one time!

Great atmosphere, and original drinks - get a skull or try to boot with friends!
The good is always on point (I love the tots & crab dip) and the service is top notch!

We only stay at Tidelands due to "Poolside" being right there.
We took a couple of seniors down for the start of Senior weak and us adults knew we wanted to be walking distance to poolside bar.
I always have at least one Bloody Mary from them, I get the one that is loaded with shrimp, bacon, and crabmeat, I call it my breakfast of champions.
We ate there a few times on our stay and the food was always good. Best crab cake I have had in OC and the burger sliders were mouth watering, made me want more the next day.
We met Jack's and Kate, who could not be more accommodating. The first day we we're at the bar Kate waited on us as the bartender and Jack's made sure we were comfortable where we were sitting, we did not realize they were the owners they were very Hands-On and extremely cordial.
The hotel itself "Tidelands" needs updating and a good cleaning, the only reason we would go back is to be close to the Poolside, we hope the staff and owners of the bar have a prosperous fun summer.
