it is now 10:16 p.m. and I'm just sitting down to eat the food I ordered from Pines Public House this afternoon. I ordered the 2 broiled crab cakes with fries, and the beef short ribs to go. I heated my husbands beef short ribs about 7:30 pm, and he truly enjoyed it. I took a little fork full of the crab cake when I got home, and was pleased, until just now, when I got ready to eat my dinner. Yes, I eat late. When I put the 2 crab cakes on a plate to heat, the bottom was black...yes....burnt!!! I'm disappointed!!! The fries were not good either, and I tried those when I picked the food up, so I won't be eating the fries either. I will call management tomorrow, but for now, I'm hungry. I'm just going to cut the burnt part off. I "will" give them another try, because I believe this was a 1 time fluke. These 2 meals including a tip for the bartender was $80.00.

The food was decent, the service was decent, the Bills-Rams game on the TV was awesome. Cream of crab soup was different than the standard one most restaurants serve, and it was good. Smash Burger was good and I really like a Hawaiian roll. Usually they end up falling apart, but this one held up. Over all a nice meal. There are a lot of dining options in this area and I'm still looking for a favorite, but this place will enter the rotation.

First time going there and really probably the last. Food was okay, app portions are small especially for the price. Got the scallops and the crab deviled eggs. 3 scallops for $16.... Also got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and my wife got the tacos not on a shell because the were out of corn tortillas. The chicken sandwich was all but impossible to eat because it was so messy. The chicken soaked the bun and then basically dissolved. My son got a grilled cheese with fries. There was way too much bread for the amount of cheese used. Service was pretty slow and only saw our server a couple times
Also the lights in the building kept flickering.
