Poseidon's Pub

Went on a week night. Only two other tables in the restaurant located inside Ocean Downs. Nice view overlooking the racetrack. I have been in there when it’s packed so be prepared. This night was great with no wait. Good service with our waitress checking on us frequently. The award winning MD crab soup is quite spicy and only gets hotter the further down the bowl you get. I was only able to eat half of it before I couldn’t enjoy it anymore. The waitress offered to remove it from the bill but I told her since I ate more than a few bites it was my responsibility to pay for it. If u like spice this will be perfect for u! Huge Caesar salad portion. The crab dip was good loaded with cheese. My boyfriend enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger and we still had lots to take home. Pretty reasonable too. Always a good spot when going to play casino games and you get hungry! Full bar available too.

Went to Poseidon's pub for all you can eat shrimp. After 15 minutes of waiting they brought me out 10 steamed shrimp. I asked for a second serving waited another 15 minutes. I called on the waitress to ask her what was going on. She said I'm so sorry we only give out 10 shrimp per plate. After more time I talk to the manager the manager she was said she was working on resolving the problem. At that point they told me. I don't have to pay. Have a good day. What a disappointing place left hungry on a all you can eat dinner. Eight shrimp is all you get. And very slowly.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming. The menu was much smaller then what I expected but I assume its due to staffing. Was not busy at all when I arrived. The food was really tasty. The amusing part is some guys walked in from the casino yelling and the bartender told them this is a restaurant and not to be so loud. I was impressed with that.
